Indie games:
- The Witness: Jonathan Blow’s next game, with a strong puzzle element and sense of exploration and discovery.
- No Man’s Sky: Hello Games’ offering since the Joe Danger series, a good change of pace and leap into randomly generated worlds with a strong focus on exploration and traveling to other planets.
- The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth- Expansion announced and we might see something at Sony’s booth from this title, promises for this have included Leaderboards, Daily Run seeds, and a wealth of new content.
- EarthNight: A Roguelike Runner game with beautiful art, coming first for the PS4 and Vita, and later for the PC, soundtrack done by Chipocrite and seems like it taps that beautiful nostalgia spot for older gamers.
- Enter The Gungeon: An adorable roguelike top down game in the works by Dodgeroll games with blistering fast gunplay similar to Nuclear Throne, coming out for the PS4, PC, and PS Vita.
- Cuphead: Might be in Microsoft’s booth, Indie game coming to Xbox One and PC, inspired by classic Megaman gameplay with a skin and overlay of Cartoons and life from cartoons lifted from the 50’s and 60’s.
- WitchMarsh: While it may not be featured at E3, I wanted to remind everyone about this game because some may have forgotten about it since kickstarting it over a year ago. An RPG roguelike game in which you and a party explore Massachusetts in the 1920s, team up with a few detectives and help find twelve missing people.
